👑 GREETINGS KINGS & QUEENS 👑
Bob Marley was born on February 6, 1945, in Nine Miles, Saint Ann, Jamaica, to Norval Marley and Cedella Booker.
While Jamaica comes alive in February, which is also known as Black History Month, today marks the King of Reggae’s 74th Earthstrong, and on this special day fans all over the world gather to honour and remember Bob Marley’s music and legacy.
Inspired by his bi-racial heritage, his island home Jamaica, and the injustices of everyday life, Bob Marley went on to become a musician and messenger; a poet and prophet of reggae culture. Full of wisdom and filled with powerful messages, his music has since echoed from Jamaica all the way across the globe, spreading his heartfelt message of peace, love, and equality to everyone who heard his songs.
BOB MARLEY’S Legacy goes beyond his music and MARLEY FEST is an occasion to remember the important messages behind the lyrics, while dancing and singing along sweet reggae music.
ONE LOVE, ONE HEART - LET’S GET TOGETHER AND FEEL ALL RIGHT
A simple goal, an epic event and an important message behind it.
From an island to the other, all the way from Jamaica to our tiny little rock here in Malta, BOB MARLEY’s music and messages remain alive and will resonate forever for many kind hearted souls and inspired generations.
While we are super excited to see you all on Friday 08 FEB at Surfside to celebrate the ONE LOVE SPIRIT in style with over 10 artists joining MARLEY FEST 2019 for 12 hours of sweet reggae music, we also would like to invite you to join us for a special birthday gathering to honour the King today!
